Choose tweezers
Fine points or a bead-handling grip?
Fine points help position small fibres and components; a bead-handling design provides a different grip for rounded items. Check the individual tool and bead size rather than assuming one pair will hold every diameter. Grip lightly enough to avoid crushing delicate materials.
Comfort and control
Choose a tip shape that gives clear access to the tie-in point and a grip you can maintain without excessive pressure. Keep tips aligned and clean. Tweezers are for handling materials, not a substitute for a vice, wire cutter or hook-bending tool.
