This page explains UK delivery, statutory cancellation and faulty-goods rights, and our additional 45-day offer for unopened goods.
1. UK delivery
We ship to UK addresses, subject to any product-specific delivery restrictions shown before purchase. Checkout shows the methods available for your address.
- Royal Mail 2nd Class: £3.99 per order.
- Royal Mail 1st Class: £5.00 per order.
- Free UK delivery on qualifying orders over £40, using the subtotal after discounts. This does not make every delivery service free.
We normally dispatch within 24 hours, excluding weekends. This is a dispatch estimate, not a promise of delivery within 24 hours. Delivery estimates depend on product availability and the service chosen.
Unless another period is agreed, goods must be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days. Contact us if an order is late or missing; we will investigate and provide the remedies required by law. Goods remain our responsibility until you or your nominated recipient take physical possession, except where a different rule lawfully applies because you arranged your own carrier independently.
2. Statutory cancellation
For goods covered by the statutory cancellation right, you can cancel without giving a reason from placing the order until 14 days after the day you receive the goods. Where one order is delivered in separate parts, the period normally runs from receipt of the last item.
Email sales@sbangling.co.uk or write to the address below with a clear cancellation statement, your name, the goods and your order number if available. A form or our permission is not required. Return goods within 14 days after telling us you are cancelling, unless we have agreed to collect them.
You may handle goods as reasonably necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning. Opening ordinary packaging does not automatically remove this right. We may make a lawful deduction for diminished value caused by excessive handling where the required cancellation information was supplied. We do not impose the voluntary offer's unopened condition on statutory cancellation.
No product-specific cancellation exception is stated on this page. Ordinary fly-tying goods are not automatically excluded merely because packaging is opened.
3. Return postage
You pay the direct cost of a change-of-mind return only where legally permitted and disclosed before purchase. We pay necessary reasonable return postage for faulty, damaged or incorrect goods and returns caused by our error. Contact us to arrange a suitable return method; this does not make your statutory rights dependent on permission.
4. Statutory refunds
For cancellation of a whole order, we refund the goods and the least expensive standard outbound delivery charge offered. Any extra paid for a premium service need not be refunded. A partial cancellation is assessed according to the goods and delivery charge concerned.
Refunds are made without undue delay. Where goods were supplied and we have not offered collection, the deadline is no later than 14 days after we receive them back or receive evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. Where we have offered collection or no goods were supplied, the refund is due within 14 days after you tell us you are cancelling.
For a refund following statutory rejection of faulty goods, we refund without undue delay and within 14 days beginning with the day we agree that you are entitled to it.
We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee. Bank-processing estimates do not extend these legal deadlines.
5. Our additional 45-day returns offer
In addition to your statutory rights, you may return unopened goods within 45 days of delivery for a refund of the price paid for those goods. Email sales@sbangling.co.uk with your order number and product details for return instructions.
This voluntary offer refunds the qualifying goods' price. It does not include outbound delivery charges unless the law requires their refund. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee.
The unopened condition applies only to this extra offer. It does not restrict statutory cancellation or faulty-goods rights.
6. Faulty damaged or incorrect goods
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose where applicable and as described. You normally have a short-term right to reject non-conforming goods within 30 days, starting when the statutory conditions for that period are met. Depending on the circumstances, other remedies include repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund.
Tell us promptly if an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect. Photos may help but are not a condition that removes your statutory rights. Original packaging is not required for faulty-goods rights, and a manufacturer's warranty does not replace your rights against us. Necessary reasonable return costs are our responsibility.
