Cortland Leader to Tippet Rings
These rings are very small but very strong. Connect to the end of the leader and no longer will you have to reduce the length of your leader when you’re changing tippet. These rings are ideal for use on the river when targeting grayling and wild trout.
Size's available
Tippet rings are a simple yet ingenious solution for fly anglers looking to extend the life of their leaders, simplify rigging, and quickly adapt their setups to changing conditions or tactics. Their durability, ease of use, and cost-effectiveness make them an essential item in any fly fisher's tackle box.
Whats a Tippet Ring?
Tippet rings are small, very lightweight rings made of either nickel alloy or stainless steel, designed for use in fly fishing to make leader and tippet changes easier and more efficient. These tiny rings, usually measuring between 1mm and 3mm in diameter, serve as a connection point between the leader and the tippet material, allowing anglers to switch out tippet sections or add droppers without having to shorten the leader each time.
